St. Albans, Vermont- Get ready for the quack-tastic excitement of the 5th Annual Lucky Duck Event, returning to the Historic Fountain in Taylor Park on Saturday, September 7th.  This community tradition, hosted by the St. Albans Rotary Club, promises to be fun for all while supporting local charities and projects in our community. 
 
Date: September 7, 2024
 
Time: Festivities begin at 10:00 AM with a Duck Costume Parade, followed with our Lucky Duck Drawings at 10:30 and Rotary Celebration at 11:00 AM. 
 
Location: Historic Fountain, Taylor Park, St. Albans, Vermont
Since its inception, the Lucky Duck event has become another event of community spirit. This fundraiser, originally conceived during the pandemic, has raised over $60,000 for local charities over the past four years.
 
What to Expect:
 
Lucky Duck Costume Parade: We invite community members of all ages to dress up in a duck costume for a parade around Taylor Park.  Prizes will be awarded.
 
Prize Drawing: Cheer on Mayor Tim Smith as he nets the lucky winners of cash prizes totaling $3100 including a grand prize of $1,000. 
 
Rotary 100th Anniversary Celebration:  Join us as we celebrate Rotary’s 100th Anniversary with a short program and refreshments.
