ST. ALBANS CITY — Students at St. Albans City School took part in "I Love to Read" Week this past week to celebrate the joy of reading.
On Monday, students "dropped everything and read," while on Tuesday they designed their own bookmarks. On Wednesday, students gathered together in small groups for "buddy reading." Book characters wandered the halls on Thursday as teachers and students were encouraged to dress up like their favorites.
On Friday, guest readers visited classrooms for storytime. Members of the St. Albans Rotary Club, students at BFA-St. Albans and other community members generously donated their time.
