We believe no one in our community should go hungry. That’s why we support local food shelves, organize and contribute to food drives, and provide volunteer assistance to ensure families facing food insecurity get the help they need—when they need it most.

We are building the future by investing in young people. Our initiatives include:
● Annual community service-based scholarships
● Sponsoring local students to attend leadership and development programs
● Supporting the Rotary Interact Club for high school students
● Providing mentorship and guidance to help youth reach their full potential

When unexpected challenges strike, we act quickly. Whether it’s fire, flood, medical emergencies, or other sudden hardships, we provide emergency relief funds and hands-on support to help families and individuals recover and rebuild.

We recognize and value our senior community members. Through partnerships with local care organizations, we work to ensure older adults remain connected, supported, and included—through outreach programs, social engagement, and practical assistance. We have provided support to our Franklin County Senior Center.

There are many flexible options to make a planned gift, regardless of your estate size. You may choose the method that best reflects your values and personal circumstances:

1. Bequest Through a Will or Trust
Include a specific dollar amount, percentage of your estate, or asset in your will or living trust.
Example: “I give and bequeath $10,000 to the St. Albans Rotary Club Charity Foundation, Inc.”

2. Retirement Plan Assets
Name the Foundation as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other retirement account. These are often tax-efficient gifts for both estate and income tax purposes.

3. Life Insurance
Designate the Foundation as a full, partial, or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance policy—or transfer ownership of a policy you no longer need.

4. Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
Recommend a final grant or name the Foundation as a successor beneficiary of your DAF.

5. Charitable Remainder or Lead Trusts
Set up a trust that provides income to loved ones for a period of time, with the remainder going to the Foundation.

6. Gifts of Appreciated Assets
